About Me
My name is Charlene, and Healing Broken Wings was born from a life shaped by love, responsibility, loss, and quiet resilience. I am a mother of three, and for sixteen years my world revolved around raising my son Jaden, who lived with cerebral palsy. That journey taught me patience, humility, and a depth of love I never knew existed. When Jaden passed away, my understanding of life, strength, and faith was forever changed.
This space is not about having answers or offering quick fixes. It is about acknowledging brokenness, honouring pain, and making room for healing in its own time. Alongside grief, I continue to walk the path of motherhood with my other two children, learning daily how strength and tenderness can exist side by side, and how healing often arrives quietly rather than in dramatic moments.
Healing Broken Wings is a place for reflection, honesty, and hope. It is for those navigating loss, exhaustion, or uncertainty, and for anyone searching for meaning in the midst of life’s struggles. We may not mend every wing, but we can learn how to rest, how to rise again, and how to keep moving forward—one breath at a time.
